Overview To constantly lead/support to deliver the Program needs along with the Integrated Business Team in line with the Organizational goals by building on lessons learnt and planning with a forward-looking view to best overcome the bumps and pits ahead. To support bid activity by working with multi-lateral team and compiling Key Scorecard inputs for review of site management leading to a successful bid. Responsibilities Lead/Coordinate with IBT team and internal resources to work seamlessly and ensure smooth execution of Program activities. Manage and inform team on commercial updates. Flow down of Program scope and/or change of scope to IBT team. Ensure that all program activities are on schedule, within quality, scope and budget. Lead/Support on monthly and quarterly program cost performance review. Define sub-projects scope within a program and develop detailed plan to monitor and track progress. Manage external and internal changes to the program scope and to develop detailed project costs with Commercial Team. Lead/Support in risk and opportunity management. Maintain good relationships and close communication of all program stakeholders and customers. Maintain project and program tracking documentations and reporting. Collaborate with Finance and OPS during Biz Partnering. Manage/Support bid opportunities working with on-site function, other Spirit site teams and customers if required. Compile and submit bidding documentations (ie, Basic of Estimates, Bid Sheet, supporting business case in response to new business bidding. Compile estimates on costing where full engineering definition is available such as engineering models, drawings and Bill of Materials. Compile estimates on costing using parametric or historical data with reasoned assumptions where minimum engineering data is available. Compile estimates on costing using empirical or comparative data with reasoned assumptions where historical data is available. Present estimates, clearly highlighting any assumptions, to others that may not be familiar with the data and issues so that they are readily understood in order to make an informed decision. Participate in the compilation and maintenance of estimate databases to ensure consistency of standard and fast retrieval of information. Liaise with other departments, functions and stakeholders in order to obtain and analyze all required data to complete estimates and quotations. Develop action log and monitor to ensure closure of agreed actions with relevant agreement or evidences to be captured in the log and or stored in a folder. Ensure all special terms and needs are accounted for in the estimate (I.e. specific bid requirement from the RFQ, timeline of submission, all specific evidence and documentations to support bidding, FAI and production ramp-up timeline. Participate in the analysis of actual performance against estimated performance to benchmark the estimate standards and assumptions. Participate in the provision of estimating services for engineering change and cost reduction opportunities. Continually update knowledge of technology for assembly, manufacturing techniques, supplier capability and commercial governance. Assist the Senior Manager / Director in contract and commercial negotiations as required. Work to standardize templates in line with policies and procedures. Continue to develop 'best suited' products for Spirit Malaysia, as well as growth strategy road map with Bid Manager / Director. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Systematic and Uniform approach to complete tasks in a timely manner. Track and follow-up on actions/ queries. Bachelor / Master's degree graduate in business or engineering discipline or equivalent experience in an aircraft manufacturing or engineering business. Ability to communicate written and orally both internally within the business and externally with customers in English. Ability to manage complex tasks and small projects. Well-developed IT skills and SAP system competency. Understanding of Contract Terms and Legal requirements. Knowledge of export control of data and product requirements. Good financial awareness. Advanced understanding of various manufacturing processes. Fast in responding to various key internal and external stakeholder's queries.
