Reporting to the Legal Counsel, this role is based in Selangor and works within a fast-paced, proactive and dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate and execute contracts for products and services, ensuring adherence to company policies, including Contract Management and Procurement policies, while proficiently utilising Contract Management systems
- Ensure adequate corporate governance, offer dedicated compliance-related services as needed
- Manage the compliance-related task such as conducting risk assessment, collecting, and cascading information to stakeholder, manage corporate policies and related administrative tasks
- Play a role in sharing best practice and knowledge as well as comprehensive and practical legal support to the businesses
- Identify opportunities to develop and apply standardised processes and documentation to support simplification, improve productivity and reduce complexity
- Qualified lawyer with minimum of five years' post-qualification experience gained in a large national or international law firm or as in-house counsel for a major multinational company
- Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of other written and spoken languages is added advantage
- Good interpersonal skills, agile, and with a growth mindset
- Remains abreast of global legal developments and best practices in corporate governance
