This is a people management & client facing role.You will have to oversee a team of 3 permanent staff and a few interns. Reports to the Head of Event and liaise with cross departments for planning and execution.
- Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish.
- Coordinate with clients to understand event needs.
- Source and manage vendors, venues, and suppliers.
- Manage event budgets and logistics.
- Provide on-site management and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate event success and provide post-event analysis.
- Lead, delegate, and manage existing team and being involved in growing the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience (or at least 5 years) in event planning and management.
- Experienced in a leading team, managing internal stakeholders, and managing external clients.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities (in English and/or Malay).
- Ability to work well in a busy environment.
