KLM E&M Malaysia operates from three locations in Kuala Lumpur, collaborating closely with customers to organize the transport and repair of aircraft components. The Malaysia platform is a fully functioning part of AFI KLM E&M's global 24/7 MRO operations. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Putrajaya for a Repair & Availability Controller. The Repair & Availability Controller will be responsible for managing the unserviceable parts at repair vendors across the Asia Pacific region. Responsibilities Challenge and validate suppliers repair quotations and exchange offers. Create Sales Quotes to recharge customers in case of Customer Induced Damages (CID) Ensure that the supplier is repairing and delivering parts in due time according to its contractual obligations. Organize regular conference calls and meetings with the suppliers to address open issues, repair status, and backlog situation. Ensure that the Supplier is respecting technical standards (SB, Modification), workscopes (Repair, Overhaul) and certification (EASA, FAA, CAAS & etc.) Secondary Responsibilities Up keep and live KLM Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others. Carry out any other task as directed by the superior. Qualifications Minimum Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Aircraft Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related fields Knowledge of aircraft components, especially Boeing 737 and 787 is beneficial Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with team members and suppliers Experience in the aviation industry or MRO operations is beneficial Computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Positive working attitude, quick learning and able to work independently Show more Show less
