Senior IT Automation Engineer - L3

• Highly experienced on Ansible automation platform. Ability to plan, design, code and implement automation using ansible for below use cases.

• Implement Red Hat Ansible automation platform using best practices.
• Automation of Application disaster recovery.
• Automation of Linux/Windows patch management.
• Automation of compliance and risk management.
• Automation of Configuration change tracking.
• Automation of performance and capacity analysis.
• Automation of server build, software installation and hardening.
• managing Linux/RHEL environment lifecycle (Red Hat Satellite & Red Hat Insights).
• Incident management, Change management, Configuration management.
• Log monitoring/maintenance.
• Engage in the maintenance and support activities, which include perform troubleshooting, Incident response, and coordination with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Work with end users, architects, and team leads in developing and implementing Unix and Linux related configuration changes based on requirements.
• Willing to work extra hours as and when required.
• Understanding of networking protocols and networking practices.
• Basic knowledge of container and Kubernetes technologies.
• Basic knowledge in monitoring and automation technologies.
• mindset to do teamwork and delegate tasks to fellow engineers and guide/train them to grow.

• Minimum 7~10 years of working experiences in Linux environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with IT Infrastructure/Application automation using Ansible.
• Need to be expert on Ansible Automation platform deployment along with EDB cluster.
• Work experience on FSI/banking infrastructure is considered as advantageous.
• Responsible for new Linux based project implementations.
• Provide support and handle Linux & Application related issues.
• Candidate needs to possess excellent diagnostics skills and a good ability to resolve problems quickly.
• Candidates must possess strong technical competence in the fundamentals of troubleshooting hardware/software along with the people skills needed to successfully support the growing needs of client and project management in infrastructure setup.
• Ability and willingness to pick up new opensource technologies.
• Excellent scripting skills (bash/yaml)
• Having the following certifications would be added advantage:

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) (RHEL7/8)
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Developing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform Exam
