About the team
As a Team Leader in our Trust & Safety Content Moderation team, you will provide leadership and day-to-day management of a team of Content Moderators. You will take responsibility for ensuring that the team has the skills, resources and support to perform at a high standard while looking at ways to improve efficiency and team success.It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

Responsibilities
- You will lead, manage, recruit & develop a team of Content Moderators, helping them to achieve their full potential and maintain high standards and quality of work.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all services are delivered within the framework of TikTok's core values and in line with existing policies and procedures.
- You will actively promote and support inclusion, ensuring that individuals are supported to participate in community and work opportunities according to their interests and goals.
- You will create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, utilising clear goals and objective setting to help the team succeed.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- You are proficient in English and Mandarin since you will be overseeing Mandarin related content.
- You possess exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with a passion for working in a team environment
- You come with proven leadership skills and experience in leading or managing people
- You come with proven experience in doing root cause analysis and ability to follow through with / action on the insights gleaned to drive performance

Preferred Qualifications
- You come with proven experience of working with data, especially on data analysis revolving performance
- You come with proven project management skills
- You are driven and self-motivated with a desire to keep improving
- You are comfortable with working shift hours on a rotational basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Experience in a BPO / call center/customer service environment is a plus.
- You possess cultural sensitivity and understanding relating to global/ regional current affairs. Familiarity with internet laws and regulations, in particular reviewing online content, would be a good plus.
- You come with proven change management experience.
- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
