Purpose of Job This role is responsible for managing claims within the Financial Lines portfolio for corporate client accounts, in close collaboration with the Specialty team. The scope of work spans multiple lines of business, including Corporate Management Liability, Mergers & Acquisitions Dispute Coverage, Financial Institutions Liability, Fraud and Crime Insurance, Medical Malpractice (MedMal) Insurance and Cyber Insurance. The role requires a strong understanding of complex claims scenarios, proactive client engagement, and coordination with insurers to ensure timely and effective resolution. It is integral to maintaining service excellence and client trust across high-value and high-risk portfolios. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Claims Management: Assess and review incoming claims notifications, identify potential issues, and escalate to the Regional Claims Director when necessary. Determine policy coverage and seek validation or clarification where required. Liaise with insurers and underwriters to support clients in managing their claims and ensure adherence to claims handling standards. Address escalated claims issues, provide resolutions, or refer to Regional Claims Director for technical expertise. Collaborate with client servicing teams to resolve claim-related concerns and ensure client satisfaction. Provide professional advice to clients on policy coverage, claims procedures, and related advisory matters. Maintain accurate claims records and prepare detailed claims reports for internal and client use. Deliver periodic claims updates in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including proactive monthly reporting to clients. Conduct onboarding sessions with clients to familiarize them with policy coverage, claims procedures, and notification protocols. Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately Representing the Company Perform any other reasonable duties as required. Knowledge/Experience and Skill Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Law, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' of related working experience in handling liability claims, in particular financial lines related claims Relevant experience in the financial lines and casualty products are required. Strong understanding of insurance policy wordings and claims processes. Demonstrated expertise in claims management within the relevant product area. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team to manage claims efficiently. Good organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple claims and stakeholders under tight deadlines. Proficiency in claims systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Show more Show less
