Job Description Job Description: As central function, Procurement is responsible for the whole purchasing volume of Infineon and contributes significantly to achieving our financial goals and to Infineon's growth. You strive for high quality, work efficient and bring up the best results through a combination of deep economic expertise and technical knowhow Then you should get in touch with our Procurement team in Kulim. In your global role you will manage the purchasing in the area of Frontend Equipment for different Infineon production sites. Main Task: Category Manager for WBG-Equipment and related parts &services. Within the global Procurement organization and there specifically the FE Equipment team, you will be responsible to support and deploy the strategy for wide band gap equipment and related activities to drive down cost for parts and supplier services. In your new role you will: Collaborate on all procurement activities regarding the worldwide category wide band equipment within the Frontend Equipment Category management team Implement and deploy the category strategy including the appropriate KPIs Setup and execute price and contract negotiations, business and performance reviews with key suppliers to fulfill your targets a and to guarantee certainty of supply at the best terms Take over market analysis as well as the selection, evaluation, management and development of suppliers Team up with the Strategic Buyer team mainly located in Europe Extend your semiconductor manufacturing know-how by interaction with IFX FE production sites (focus is Villach site) Use your intercultural competencies to establish and maintain valuable partnerships within the company and with the supplier base Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a degree that ideally combines technical courses and business administration At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience in a manufacturing company Practical and international experience in the procurement area, ideally in an industry environment, Industry and market knowledge of the semiconductor industry is a strong advantage Profound negotiation skills (e.g. commercial and legal contracts) Professional MS Office credentials, especially in Excel and Power Point Professional English communication skills, German skills would be greatly beneficial.
