About The Role Department : Project Management Location : HQ, Menara Southpoint, Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur Job Description Develop, implement, and maintain cost management procedures and processes to support projects from inception to completion. Communication of the cost management standards throughout the planning and construction teams. Prepare preliminary, elemental, and detailed estimates of construction and related costs. Review and evaluate / value-engineer design and outline specifications and exercise cost control in conjunction with the project team. Formulate and agree the procurement strategy for the project in line with procurement principles and supply chain requirements. Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation, as well as calling of tenders. Lead the financial evaluation of tenders and bids. Oversee the preparation and monitoring of the project cost budget, the cash flow for the project, the tracking of changes in the design/construction process, and the adjusting of budget estimates. Review and adjudicate financial claims proposed by contractors. Prepare final accounts for the works on a progressive basis. Undertake quantitative and qualitative risk analysis on the project costs. Identify the key programme cost issues and focus attention on the critical elements for delivery within the project. Establish and manage the earned value and trend analysis functions as part of the cost forecasting. Identify significant areas of risk based upon forecast information within the cost reports. Any other duties as assigned from time to time. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or similar. A minimum of 5 years proven experience on constructions projects. Good command in English Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
