- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met. \n\n
- Implement best practices in manufacturing, lean operations, and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency. \n\n
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), production yield, downtime, and cost control. \n\n
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, ISO, etc.). \n\n
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals. \n\n
- Drive cost reduction, waste minimization, and productivity improvement programs. \n\n
- Lead capacity planning, resource allocation, and capital investment decisions. \n\n
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team including production, maintenance, engineering, and logistics. \n\n
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. \n\n
- Conduct performance reviews, training, and succession planning. \n\n
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. \n\n
- Implement and maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.). \n\n
- Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions. \n\n
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability. \n\n
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while avoiding stockouts. \n\n
- Prepare and manage the plant budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. \n\n
- Analyze operational costs and implement cost-saving measures. \n\n
- Liaise with senior management, suppliers, and customers to align operations with business needs. \n\n
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, sales, and R&D teams. \n\n
\n\t * Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
\n\t * Experience: 10+ years in plant/factory operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role (manufacturing/FMCG sectors preferred).
\n\t * Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and automation.
\n\t * Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
\n\t * Leadership Skills: Excellent team management and conflict resolution abilities. o Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
