We are expanding our Compliance Team in South East Asia and seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting and Data Analyst to join our Global Compliance Team based in Malaysia. What you'll be spending your time on: 1. Regulatory Reporting: Extract and organise data from various sources to support the creation of regular regulatory reports for all jurisdictions where we have reporting obligations. Ensure the timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports in line with relevant deadlines and regulatory requirements. 2. Regulatory Calendar Maintenance: Collaborate with the compliance team to maintain and update the regulatory calendar, ensuring that all regulatory reporting deadlines are met. 3. Process Support and System Optimisation: Work with internal teams to support reporting processes and help improve the effectiveness of data systems, including gathering and communicating requirements to stakeholders. Identify areas of improvement in reporting processes and support their implementation to streamline and optimise workflows. 4. Data Management and Issue Resolution: Organise regulatory data and reports, ensuring proper storage, cataloguing and accessibility for reporting and audit purposes. Participate in addressing and resolving operational issues, problems, and queries related to regulatory reporting processes promptly. 5. Project Involvement: Support the implementation of system updates and process improvements by working with relevant stakeholders, including compliance, product and IT teams. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system configurations meet business and regulatory requirements. 6. Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with internal teams to gather relevant information and ensure all necessary data is captured for regulatory reporting. Assist the compliance team in preparing and reviewing other compliance-related reports as required. 7. Regulatory Compliance and Requirement Implementation: Under the guidance of compliance management, ensure that the company complies with all regulatory reporting obligations across various jurisdictions. Keep up to date with the latest developments in regulatory reporting requirements in all relevant jurisdictions. For this role you&aposll also have: An academic degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years professional experience Strong interest in regulatory compliance Numerical aptitude and the ability to analyse and manage data effectively Strong organisational skills and structured approach to tasks Not afraid to dive into details and ensure accuracy High quality verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly A proactive and solution-oriented mindset Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is advantageous Show more Show less
