Free-Lance Economists

• Malaysian nationality (Malaysian citizen living in Malaysia).
• Bachelor degree in economics or political economy (completed or close to completion).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Bahasa Malayu (spoken and written). - High organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance and under tight deadlines.
• Good and accurate in data entry and filing.
• Well-versed in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Passionate with free-market economics.

• Free-Lance Economists will have the responsibility of undertaking research according to CME customers’ requirements and expectations. This will include research, writing and preparing presentations.
• Write papers and reports as required by CME business activity and customers’ expectations.
• Interpret and forecast the trends of the market by studying present and historical trends.
• Advise on solutions to economic problems for a company, government or businesses.
• Research economic issues that may be relevant for CME business activity and customers’ expectations.
• Analyze collected data by using software, statistics and mathematical models.
• Create and conduct surveys and collect data
• Present the results of the research through tables, charts and reports in person and in written form.
