Role Summary We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and support the development and enhancement of our insurance platform solutions. Key Responsibilities Requirements Analysis & Documentation Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from internal stakeholders and clients Support the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications Help maintain requirements traceability matrices and project documentation Participate in requirements review sessions and stakeholder meetings Process Analysis & Improvement Support analysis of current business processes and workflows within insurance operations Assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation Help document as-is and to-be process flows using standard notation (BPMN, flowcharts) Contribute to process improvement initiatives and change management activities Data Analysis & Reporting Perform basic data analysis to support business decisions and platform enhancements Assist in creating reports and dashboards for stakeholders Help maintain data quality standards and support data validation activities Support the analysis of system performance metrics and user engagement data Testing & Quality Assurance Execute comprehensive testing activities including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation Coordinate testing activities with development teams and stakeholders Identify, document, and track defects through resolution Validate system functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria Serve as the primary quality gate between development and client delivery Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with development teams and product managers Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives Support training activities and knowledge transfer sessions Platform Support Gain understanding of tigerlab&aposs insurance platform capabilities and features Assist in platform configuration and customization activities Support client onboarding and implementation processes Help troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate resolution efforts Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor&aposs degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field 0-2 years of experience in business analysis, insurance, or technology roles Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered Technical Skills Basic understanding of business process modeling and documentation Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheet, Doc, Notebook LLM, Figma) Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar) Experience with testing tools and methodologies (test case creation, defect tracking) Basic SQL knowledge is preferred but not required Understanding of API concepts and digital platforms is a plus Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Customer-focused mindset Preferred Qualifications Exposure to insurance industry processes and terminology Experience with agile methodologies Basic understanding of software development lifecycle Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities Mentorship from experienced business analysts and industry professionals Opportunity to work with cutting-edge insurance technology Collaborative and innovative work environment Career progression opportunities within a growing company 2 days work from home and 3 days in office Show more Show less
