- Oversee and manage a group of accounting experts within the department.
- Support the Team Manager in strategic and resource planning for the team.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the company's objectives.
- Provide routine progress updates and reports to the Team Manager regarding departmental activities
- Serve as a project coordinator to spearhead process enhancement initiatives and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Provide expertise as a subject matter specialist to aid the Team Manager by offering insights, advice, and recommendations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supported regions regarding issue resolution and escalation.
- Ensure that process enhancements are implemented within the designated timeframe and budget.
- Ensure compliance with document retention requirements stipulated by regulatory authorities in specific operational countries or business units.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with the company's internal stakeholders and leadership team. Collaborate closely with other operational functions to ensure smooth coordination of financial activities.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in end to end Accounts Payable within Shared Services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounts Payable processes, coupled with extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, along with professional qualifications such as ACCA/CPA/MIA.
- Able to work from 1pm to 10pm daily to support EMEA region.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Possesses independence, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Capable of multitasking, meticulous attention to detail, and adept at managing stress.
- Experience with Oracle and SAP systems is desirable.
