Oversee daily laboratory operations.
Responsible in planning, including resource management and coordination for testing, machine calibration and preventive maintenance and verification of equipment.
Ensuring seamless execution of Lab operation.
Ensuring compliance to safety regulation of the lab during the work hours and adherence of the Lab to safety requirement.
Ensuring cleanliness standard, proper housekeeping and tidiness of R&D Lab.
Responsible for maintaining the machine & equipment in the R&D Lab.
Preparing work instruction for all the machine/ equipment in R&D Lab
Support in preparing purchase request from time to time as needed by department/ projects.
Supporting in conducting testing, assembly, prototyping and documentation for all R&D projects.
Supporting in producing quality (both functional and aesthetic) prototypes for evaluation.
Support in producing jigs and fixtures used for engineering testing, new product assembly, etc.
Providing accurate results and proper report of testing conducted.
Support/ prepare protocols or report of machine/ equipment required for any qualification.
Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by superior.

Education / Experience Requirements

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Working experience in laboratory, preferably with supervisory experience.
Experience with engineering testing, R&D or manufacturing in Medical Device environment will be an advantage.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) in English and Malay language.
Good knowledge in Engineering and testing.
Computer Literate (MS. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proactive team coordination abilities and problem solving minded.
