- Identify and develop new market opportunities, clients, and partnerships aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Conduct industry research, analyze trends, and monitor competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
- Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with proposal and engineering teams to ensure commercial and technical viability of all submissions.
- Take the lead on marketing activities such as campaigns, branding, and participation in trade shows and customer events.
- Oversee customer service delivery to ensure alignment with ISO and internal quality standards.
- Review customer orders and identify discrepancies or potential risks to safeguard commercial interests.
- Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to team performance reviews and meetings.
- A degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical, Process, or Electrical preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the Oil & Gas or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas sales cycles, RFQ/RFP processes, and technical proposal development.
- Proven track record of closing complex deals and developing long-term client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, commercially minded, and able to work both independently and in teams.
- Familiarity with regional market dynamics and key players in Malaysia's Oil & Gas landscape
