The Payroll Specialist is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysia entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, expertise in payroll regulations, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. The Payroll Specialist will also handle inquiries and resolve any payroll issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Process monthly payroll for 700+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Record Maintenance: Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in payroll status. Deductions and Benefits: Manage employee deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all payroll laws and regulations, staying updated on changes in payroll and tax laws. Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll reports, summaries, and relevant documentation as required. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner. Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance to ensure they meet quality and delivery standards. Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues promptly. Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll information and documentation. Systems Management: Utilize and maintain payroll and leave management systems and ensure data integrity. Training and Development: Stay informed about payroll best practices and provide training to staff on payroll procedures as needed. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Experience: 3-5 years in end-to-end payroll processing in Malaysia payroll management, preferably in-house. Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll practices, labour laws, and tax regulations. Skills: 1. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 3. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. 4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 5.
