- Assist the HOD/Engineer in managing the equipments tasks; establish specific maintenance procedures, inspection schedules and maintenance work schedules.
- Leading a team of Engineering Technicians to sustain daily Assembly and Packaging Production
- Ensuring effective and efficient technical support arrangements are in place to deal with any planned, unplanned or emergency work.
- Ensuring overall Assembly and Packaging Quality, Cost and Delivery target are met.
- Review daily machine running parameter recorded by Engineering Technician.
- Work with QA, Facilities and Production teams to reply NCR and related documents on equipments, electrical or facilities related issue. Provide and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to close the related NCR.
- Responsible for the development and training of Engineering Technicians.
- To carry out other legitimate tasks as directed by supervisor/management.
- Responsible to complete all PM activities of Assembly and Packaging equipments on a timely manner.
- Responsible to organize and implement a comprehensive job to ensure that all machineries and electrical system are well maintained at all times.
- Providing effective and reliable maintenance support (corrective and preventive) to all factory machineries and equipment.
- Liaise and supervise external contractors to ensure that all repair & maintenance works carry out by them on machineries and equipments fulfil the required standards/regulations and within given time frame.
- Prepare and submit all relevant reports (MC Downtime Report, Plant & Machineries Trouble Report, to the HOD/Engineer on time.
- Assist the HOD/Engineer in other operational duties such as Safety and Health, and 5S matters in Assembly and Packaging.
- To attend power trip, restoration and also corrective action with minimum supervision.
- To control spare part inventory and update report to the HOD/Engineer on time
- Review and update PM activity checklist to improve machine running.
- Diploma in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR
- SPM/SPVM/Certificate with 10 years working experience in manufacturing environment, preferably possess Competent Chargeman Certificate Level 'B0/A0/A1/A4' issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga or Jabatan Bekalan Elektrik.
- Diploma level: minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
- Certificate level: minimum 10 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) in English and Malay Language.
- Able to carry out troubleshooting for machineries, equipment and electrical failures and provide corrective actions with minimum supervision.
- Possess strong trouble shooting and analytical skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
