Production Manager - Automotive

• Oversee and manage the full production process to meet output, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Develop and implement production schedules to optimise workforce and equipment utilisation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and enhance product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of workplace safety.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address production challenges.
• Monitor production KPIs and provide regular reports and updates to the Plant Head.
• Lead, coach, and develop production team.
• Manage production-related costs, including labor and materials.
• Support plant-level planning for new product introductions and process enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and environmental guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related discipline). Advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or related industries, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial production role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and lean principles.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Familiarity with production planning tools, resource optimisation techniques and standard office software.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance in manufacturing environments.
• Mandarin speaking skills are an advantage.
