A well-established company focus on mining consulting & services based in Penang is looking for Korean speaking accountant to manage full set of accounting. This role is responsible for managing the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team in audits, tax filings, and financial analysis. The role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and sound knowledge of financial principles.Job ResponsibilitiesHandle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing. * Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and statutory filings.

Communicate with Korean-speaking stakeholders (clients, HQ, vendors) regarding financial matters.
Translate and interpret financial documents from Korean to English and vice versa.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
Support finance process improvement and automation initiatives.

Job RequirementsDiploma/ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.Proficient in written and spoken Korean and EnglishStrong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.Good analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team.
