- Task : Researching current trends in digital marketing relevant to your industry Week 2: Website Familiarization • Learn about the website's structure, content management system (CMS), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) • Review current website content and identify areas for improvement • Plan / organise products' category in the website Week 3: Social Media Basics • Introduction to social media marketing • Study existing Facebook strategies and campaigns • How to create engaging content for social media platforms.H21 (graphics, captions) • Scheduling posts Week 4: Google Ads Training • Learn about Google Ads basics and tools • Analyze current campaigns and performance metrics • Assist in setting up a basic ad campaign • Prepare a report on findings Week 5: Content Creation • Create blog posts or articles related to laser router cutting and core advertising materials • Develop social media content calendars for social media and blog posts Week 6: Google Ads Campaigns • Review the performance of Google Ads campaign set up in Month 1 • Monitor ad performance and suggest improvements • Assist in creating or optimizing Google Ads campaigns Week 7: Social Media Campaign • Launch a small social media campaign (eg. Promotion / Awareness / Engagement) • Engage with followers on Facebook, respond to comments, & share user-generated content • Analyse engagement metrics and report on finding Week 8: Email Marketing & Market Research • Introduction & explain the basic of email marketing • Conduct research on competitors and industry trends • Prepare a presentation on findings and potential strategies Week 9: Performance Analysis • How to use Google Analytics to track website traffic and analyse social media metrics • How to interpret data and make recommendations / adjustments to digital marketing strategies • Prepare reports on Google Ads and social media performance • Develop a plan for future campaigns Week 10: SEO Basic • Introduction & explain the fundamentals of search engine optimisation • Perform a basic SEO audit of company website Week 11: Final Project & Presentation • To create a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for a new product or service • Prepare for a presentation to share findings and strategies with the team Week 12: Wrap-Up • Finalize all reports and documentation • Conduct performance review with intern • Discuss the internship experience and Gather feedback from the intern
