- Oversee offshore NUI operations — from subsea and dry tree systems to export pipeline, including chemical/MEG injection, metering, and power generation.
- Manage onshore gas receiving and processing — separation, stabilization, compression, mercury removal, sweetening, and metering.
- Lead acid gas treatment — high-H₂S removal, sulphur recovery/pelletization, and MEG systems for export of sweet gas and sulphur.
- Operate and optimize utility systems — steam, boilers, service water, instrument air, nitrogen, and other essential services for R&M OGP.
- Safety & Start-Up: Champion Goal Zero (no harm, no leaks) and lead asset readiness and safe start-up of offshore and onshore facilities, meeting SURU targets.
- Operations Excellence: Deliver top-quartile performance in production, emissions, and HSSE targets during the operating phase.
- Technical Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams to integrate SEAM processes and drive reliability through CPBM, PTM, RAM, RBA, and other asset management tools.
- Mechanical Discipline Expertise: Provide engineering assurance across pressure equipment, piping, tanks, and relief systems, ensuring compliance with Shell DEP, API, ASME, and regulatory standards.
- Inspection & Integrity: Support license-to-operate activities, manage IMS tools, and lead long-term integrity initiatives for mechanical assets.
- Engineering Solutions: Deliver advanced mechanical analysis (e.g., stress, vibration, FEA), support MoC processes, and provide sustainable solutions for asset integrity and refurbishment.
- Collaboration & Development: Work closely with MMI and Heat Transfer teams, support RCA investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement in mechanical integrity and reliability.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry, with a strong focus on Operations & Maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in project execution, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of static equipment such as pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and packaged systems.
- Experience in sour gas processing or integrated refinery/petrochemical operations.
- Strong knowledge of static equipment, including vessels, piping, heat exchangers, reactors, and columns. Familiarity with furnaces and thermal rating of shell-and-tube heat exchangers is a plus.
- Certified DOSH Steam Engineer (Grade 1 or 2).
- Proven leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive performance and align with business goals.
- Proficient in international design codes and standards such as API, ASME, TEMA, and Shell DEP.
