Your Opportunity As the Sales Director, you will be responsible to execute the Company's sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, expand market share and strengthen client relationships. You will also oversee the Travel Agents FIT sales, as well as Direct & Indirect Meetings & Events (Group) business volume (BV) and contribution. Mission 1: Drive sales performance for both Singapore and Malaysia Indirect Develop efficient commercial sales action plans, consisting of product training, penetration plan, segment expansion, ad-hoc offers, and other activities that can elevate the Group business in each market Responsible for maximizing revenue on every business opportunity with the team members Explore beyond traditional Group business segments to drive business during low seasons Co-plan with Marketing team members an annual marketing and promotional plan on all disciplines (offline, sales documents, media, CRM, brochures) to achieve the yearly business objectives Responsible for M&E marketing budget optimization for spends to drive awareness to Meetings & Events by Club Med Provide and analyze monthly financial reporting and forecast for Business Reviews and other required meetings MICE Build a sustainable commercial action plan consisting of agent product training, incentives and challenges, special offers, trade events and other activities to achieve the Indirect FIT business targets Co-plan with Marketing team members an annual marketing and promotional plan on all disciplines such as, but not limited to, trade events, training documents, co-marketing digital marketing materials with agents, CRM, brochures Responsible for Indirect FIT marketing budget optimization for spends to drive business and maintain the premium brand positioning of Club Med Build strongly Club Med's standing with travel partners, represent the brand at all major events/expos and when possible through the trade press, as well as dedicated co-marketing campaigns with Agents Provide and analyze monthly financial reporting and forecast for Business Reviews and other required meetings Mission 2: Manage Key Accounts - commercial, contractual and internal Elaborate contracts according to local laws and sales conditions Negotiate commission levels with agents in line with commercial strategy & budgets Ensure the full payment of clients and end of month closing in line with Finance Dept requirements and regulations Work closely with the SGP/MY Pricing Manager to maximize yield during High seasons and drive business volume for the Low seasons for FIT sales segments in both markets Work closely with Finance, Revenue Management teams beyond commercial teams to drive Group business to feeder resorts in both markets and grow business volume to international resorts. Advisor to, and when required to handle, crisis situations and emergencies related to the dedicated sales segments Mission 3: Team Management Lead the sales team to deliver consistent growth while ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy Lead annual assessments for the M&E and Travel Agents sales team members in both markets Recommend candidates and make proposals for team organization improvements Develop team skills by identifying training needs, coaching and training team members Show more Show less
