With a strong presence nationwide, deliver innovative and reliable IT, network, cloud, and outsourcing services to over 1,000 clients over 20 years across diverse industries.Industry : IT Services & IT ConsultingLocation: Petaling Jaya, Selangor & Jelutong, PenangHeadcount: 2 (for each location)Position Title : Senior System EngineerTenure: PermanentRemuneration: Basic + allowances + OTJob Description:· Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, support, and maintain a range of systems, including Windows servers, virtualization platforms, OS performance tuning, Active Directory, and backup/restore solutions.· Collaborate closely with clients and vendors to resolve issues, monitor project schedules, and assess technical support needs.· Provide technical support to the sales team and ensure customer infrastructure issues are resolved professionally and on time.· Troubleshoot and resolve system infrastructure issues within the agreed SLA.· Manage project planning, track timelines, and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.· Prepare and compile comprehensive project documentation.· Implement and configure solutions such as VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, and backup tools.· Work effectively under pressure and be available for after-hours or midnight standby when required.Job Requirements:· Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.· Strong troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows Server OS, VMware/Hyper-V, backup solutions, and server/storage systems.· Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with WINS, DNS, DHCP, NFS, LDAP, and security management.· Proven experience in designing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.· Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam and StorageCraft Disaster Recovery.· Knowledge of SAN, iSCSI, and NAS solutions.· Experience with Microsoft Azure or Dell enterprise solutions is an added advantage.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.· High level of dedication to service excellence and customer satisfaction.· Positive attitude, proactive approach, and strong team collaboration skills.· Willingness to work after office hours and on standby duty as needed.Sub Specialization : Information Technology;IT Infrastructure
