SCOPE OF THE ROLE You will be involved extensively and be responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle and support for all work transitioned from UOB Group (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support. You will be expected to work with various stakeholders (including business analysts) to understand/define functional and non-functional requirements and provide technical solutions for the domain area of Digital Banking. Other responsibilities include: Develop tools and applications to support workflows and processes within the Technology and Operations ecosystem. Responsible for troubleshooting and issue analysis, as well as coding, unit testing and implementing software enhancements. Participate in agile team activities, planning, estimation, daily standups Have strong logical approach to problem resolution, with high aptitude for learning. Use emerging practices in software development. Ability to pick up and adapt to new technologies quickly and deal with ever changing change. Extensive understanding and experience in object-oriented concepts, structural programming, database designing and entire software development life cycle. Design, build and maintain high-performance and good quality web applications Diagnose and solve production issues as they arise. A passion for learning and the willingness to solve problems Excellent team player having analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills. Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. SKILLS REQUIRED Experience in developing web applications using Java/J2EE technologies Experience in developing micro services and consuming RESTful web services. Server-side Frameworks - Core-Java, Apache Camel, Maven, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Multi-threading, JDBC, JMS, Hibernate, JPA, Json, Mockito, Swagger, OCP Skilled in database technologies such as Oracle, Mariadb Experience in writing unit testing using various testing frameworks Strong knowledge on design principles and design patterns. Experience in configuration, deployment of enterprise applications with OCP Experience in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle from Analysis to Production support.
