Company DescriptionJob Description

Design and specify electrical systems for data centres and buildings, including 132kV, 33kV, 415V, Generators, UPS and ELV systems
Prepare relevant document, design calculations and drawings for submissions to authorities
Attend client-consultant, site and technical meetings
Provide project management and construction supervision
Review contractors' technical submissions of equipment/material/drawings
Conduct site inspection of installations
Witness testing and commissioning of equipment/system
Work with the clients' project team and fellow consultants to coordinate and detail project design requirement
Be responsible for any duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, recognised by Board of Engineers, Malaysia
Able to work in Malaysia
At least 5 years of relevant experience with M&E Consultancy firm(s)
Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations
Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux and ETAP simulation software.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Positive work attitude
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Enjoy the process of developing design ideas into actual quality installation and validating through performance tests
Likes hands-on site and testing & commissioning work
Experience in Data Centre industry is preferred
Suitable applicant with longer relevant experience, deeper technical knowledge and additional technical qualifications, such as Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC), will be considered for more senior position
