We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced data engineers to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in data engineering and analytics within the Finance Department, collaborating directly with finance business users to deliver actionable insights and solutions.Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in building, testing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using tools like SQL, Python, and cloud services.
- Support data ingestion and transformation from various structured and unstructured data sources.
- Help optimize existing data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Participate in database and data warehouse design activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Data Analysts and Business User) to understand data requirements.
- Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong foundation in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment.
