Job Summary As a Cost Accountant at Quantum, you will be responsible for reviewing and reporting on various activities related to production and service/repair operations, including cost maintenance, variance analysis, financial close and reporting. Job Responsibilities Month-end close review and journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis Prepare monthly and quarterly inventory reports and trend analysis Product costing and maintenance Develop reporting to analyze inventory transactions and variance analysis Identify issues and work with operations to implement solutions Support internal and external audit requirements SOX compliance and testing Reserve analysis and calculation Working Hours: 8.00AM to 5.00PM with flexibility to occasionally work off hours to attend project meetings with US counterparts. Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment Experience with inventory cost accounting is a plus ERP systems and report-writing experience, D365 experience a plus Strong skills in MS Excel Accurate and detail-oriented Able to adapt to rapidly changing business models Strong collaborative and communication skills Ability to take on projects with minimal guidance Show more Show less
