A Brief Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for corporate reporting for the HK and High Net Worth business, covering a wide range of valuation bases, financial metrics and business projections as required by the company, and also other areas of actuarial practice like assumptions. The role will provide the candidate with broad exposure to various management reporting and actuarial valuation knowledge. What You Will Do Support the reporting requirements for US GAAP (e.g. LDTI) and US STAT (e.g. Principles Based Reserving), and the analysis for management reporting; Support the quarterly LDTI valuation reporting process; Support the monthly reporting for hard and soft closing; Assist in valuation process improvement to achieve higher level of operational efficiency; Support assumption reviews and basis changes and communicate appropriate impact results and financial analytics; Compliance controls and audit checks on the valuation data and bases; Work closely with Finance, Administration and Pricing Teams to achieve goals; Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelor&aposs degree in actuarial science with 3 or more SoA or equivalent actuarial exams passed; required 0+ Years work experience in life insurance/reinsurance companies. Fresh graduate with internship experience is welcomed; preferred Hands on experience from valuation or financial reporting, ideally on US GAAP reporting but not a must; preferred Computer savvy including actuarial software (e.g. AXIS, Prophet etc.) and a strong knowledge in Excel and VBA. required Strong analytical, data management skills, attention to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. required A highly motivated and conceptual thinker who is able to collaborate in a team environment or work independently and take an active role in a wide variety of assignments. required What you can expect from RGA Gain valuable knowledge from and experience with diverse, caring colleagues around the world.
