Your future employee is a construction company who are looking to expand and penetrate the market. They are well know for their landed building projects. Currently they are looking for a Procurement Manager to join them based in PJ (HQ) office.

- Responsible for overall procurement of relevant raw & building materials, subcontracting works.
- Source of reliable suppliers & contractors and to ensure project cost within budget and/or to maximise project savings and/or profits.
- Verify and approve purchase requisitions by reviewing cost comparison report, clarifying unclear items, recommend alternatives or substitutes, propose value engineering, etc.
- Verify and approve on materials requisitions, site measurements of work done, progress claims and invoices.
- Working hand in hand with other departments within the company to ensure smooth and efficient procurement process and on time project delivery.
- Follow up and look into overall procurement and purchasing administrative matters and any other ad-hoc tasks.
- Plan and forecast company monthly cash flow and expenses.
- Follow up and look into overall administrative matters of various contracts and subcontract works including recommendation of payments, variation order certificates, etc.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Director and managing 2 purchasers.skills and experience required
- Possess a good knowledge in purchasing and supply chain management in construction is a must.
- Minimum a diploma. degree in the relevant field.
- Able to work with independently and able to manage multiple stakeholders across the board.
- Able to work under effectively under pressure and manage timelines accordingly.
