- Negotiate and review corporate secretarial and governance documents, including articles of association, bylaws, shareholder agreements and resolutions, and meeting minutes.
- Manage and maintain corporate records and registers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of various corporate governance documents, including resolutions, annual reports, proxies, and other required filings.
- Stay informed about corporate governance regulations and best practices, providing guidance to clients and the team.
- Handle administrative tasks related to corporate secretarial duties, including recordkeeping, document retrieval, and communication with regulatory authorities.
- Provide support in drafting legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to corporate governance.
- Law degree and a current legal license in Malaysia.
- 3-5 years of experience in negotiating and reviewing corporate secretarial and governance documentation.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing corporate records and documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools for corporate secretarial work.
