- Supervise the application support team while working closely with development and operational support teams to ensure rapid service restorations.
- Maintain accountability for an issue until the service is restored.
- Manage and own the problem management process. Prevent the repetition of issues through root cause analysis.
- Improve future resolution of issues by writing knowledge articles and training team members and colleagues.
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed upon SLAs. Continuously improve service and efficiency and examine potential areas for service improvement.
- Assess risk of changes on the production network and challenge these when necessary.
- Ensure there are robust procedures and processes within the application support function.
- A recognised Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in applications development support
- Programming skills in ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML, Javascripts and MsSQL
- Preferred skills in Multithreading, Data Replication, Microsoft IIS Configuration, Web Services, Windows Services
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. High attention to detail.
- Fluent in English with good communication and writing skills
