This role is pivotal in providing high-quality operational and technical application support to customers and internal business stakeholders.What you'll do: As a Lead for Application Support specialising in Security Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supervising a dedicated team, ensuring rapid service restoration during incidents. You will take ownership of problems, conducting thorough root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Your commitment to continuous improvement will be evident as you identify potential areas for service enhancement, always striving to exceed SLA expectations. Your strong leadership skills will shine as you coach your team, fostering a culture of excellence within your department.

Supervise the application support team while working closely with development and operational support teams to ensure rapid service restorations.
Maintain accountability for an issue until the service is restored.
Manage and own the problem management process. Prevent the repetition of issues through root cause analysis.
Improve future resolution of issues by writing knowledge articles and training team members and colleagues.
Ensure service delivery meets agreed upon SLAs. Continuously improve service and efficiency and examine potential areas for service improvement.
Assess risk of changes on the production network and challenge these when necessary.
Ensure there are robust procedures and processes within the application support function.

What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Lead Application Support role will bring a wealth of experience from a similar position. With at least five years' experience in applications development, support, you'll have proven programming skills including ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML, Javascripts and MsSQL.

A recognised Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in applications development support
Programming skills in ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML, Javascripts and MsSQL
Preferred skills in Multithreading, Data Replication, Microsoft IIS Configuration, Web Services, Windows Services
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. High attention to detail.
Fluent in English with good communication and writing skills
