Job type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 months (If project required extendable) Job Specification Qualifications A recognized diploma/degreed in Information Systems or its equivalent Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements Certification in Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration. Knowledge of Cloud-Native technologies like Istio, Prometheus, Jaeger, etc. Familiarity with Microservices architecture and managing microservices on Kubernetes/OpenShift. Relevant Work Experience Minimum 6 years of experience as an OpenShift Administrator, Kubernetes Administrator, or similar DevOps role. Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container orchestration . Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of OpenShift with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and virtualized environments (VMware). Technical/Functional skills Strong technical management, problem management and leadership skills. Highly result oriented and can work independently. Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external parties. Good analytical, technical, written and communication skills. Strong experience: - Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Oracle Linux etc) system administration, including systemd, firewalld, and SELinux. - Experience managing Helm, Ansible, Satellite and Git for automation and configuration management. - Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or other monitoring and logging tools. - Experience with networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, routing, and firewalls in containerized environments. - Experience with storage solutions, persistent volumes, and dynamic provisioning in OpenShift. Good understanding of best practices and technology solutions. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to address technical issues in both technical and non-technical terms.
