Oversee finance and accounting staff to ensure that they are suitably motivated and developed, and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards Prepare the yearly operating budget for the company to ensure that all financial objectives are fulfilled and that all financial and legislative regulations are complied. Manage performance against budget, highlighting concerns and opportunities, liaise with stakeholders to ensure concerns are being communicated and addressed. Review monthly management accounts, financial statements, and any other financial reports, ensuring timely submission and compliance with relevant governing rules, standards and requirement. Assist in accounting, tax and financial reporting matters and technical advisory. Liaise with auditors and assist in managing the audit process for the companies. Develop good relationships with external parties, e.g., solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations. Correspond with other departments, discussing corporate strategies and deciding on future directions. Manage and oversee the finance and accounts for multiple companies/subsidiaries Any other duties assigned from time to time. REQUIREMENTS: Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Minimum 5 years working of working experience in accounting and audit Preferably qualified member of MIA, ACCA/CIMA /MACPA or equivalent . Able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, effectively both as an individual and team. Previous audit experience and relevant working experience is an advantage.
