Position: Product Manager (Marketing) - 6 Months Contractual Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor Key Responsibilities: Product Development Lead : Collaborate with R&D and operations team to conceptualize and create new products or improve existing ones. This involves conducting market research, understanding consumer needs and preferences, and analyzing competitors' products. Product Launch: Lead and implement product launches, which may involve coordinating with various departments and agencies such as sales, manufacturing and supply chain to ensure a successful introduction of the product to the market. Brand/Product Launch & Activations: Lead & drive brand/product launches & activations to support new user recruitment and in-store brand excitement in collaboration with Trade Marketing/Sales dept/ Agencies/Vendors. Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and potential areas for product improvement or expansion. Agencies/Vendor Management: Engaging with creative agencies, media agencies, external suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure timely and quality implementation of ATL program from mass media to digital media and BTL programs from POSM/GWP production for ongoing campaigns. Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market research to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve product performance. Budget Management: Assisting in developing and managing budgets related to product development, marketing, and other associated activities. Sales and Promoter team Support: Providing sales and promoter teams with the necessary product knowledge, training, and marketing materials to effectively promote and sell the products. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments such as sales, media, research and development, manufacturing and supply chain to ensure seamless product development and campaign execution. Requirements: Self-starter with an interest in innovation, ability to multitask, good with operations/execution tasks and ability to meet deadlines Collaboration Spirit, Positive Attitude - Hungry to win spirit Able to understand English & Malay language. Chinese language knowledge (written & spoken) is an added advantage. Agency Liaison - Ability to liaise & drive projects with multiple agencies (media, creative, research, advertising), ensure on-ground activation of all events/campaigns in accordance with the plan. Good written and oral communication - briefing agencies / to key stakeholders Able to collaborate with brand teams, external(agencies) & cross functional dept to achieve set task, KPIs, and flexible/ willing to learn on the job. Able to work hand-in-hand with brand team to support brand activities, campaign & operational follow-up to ensure execution outcome in a smooth, successful manner. Experience: Degree holder graduate 2-3 years of brand/marketing/ exposure product/brand marketer preferably with study majors in Marketing / Brand Development within FMCG environment. Basic Computer/ Microsoft Skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Good understanding of social media platforms such as Meta, Tik Tok, Instagram, Digital marketing would be added advantage.
