- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and deliver excellent results
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges
- Oversee the management of key accounts and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Forecast sales performance and set ambitious but achievable sales targets
- Develop and execute effective sales plans, including pricing strategies and promotional activities
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including training and development opportunities
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to drive business growth
- Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and best practices to stay ahead of competitors
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in sales management with a minimum of 10 years in FMCG industry
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia)
- Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using sales CRM software and MS Office
- Experience in the consumer goods industry, preferably in a similar role
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences
- Familiarity with distribution channels and retail operations
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
