
HSSE Executive (Kuala Lumpur)

- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements (DOSH, SC, OSHA), HSSE procedures, industrial standards, and certifications through audits, inspections, and active monitoring of all sites under care.
- Support the Operation Manager in developing and implementing the annual Operational Excellence Blueprint (KPI) to ensure HSSE goals align with customer deliverables and company standards.
- Assist in managing and maintaining Edgenta's Management System (MS) certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) and carry out internal management audits to verify system effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between operations, HQ, and departments including Tender & Procurement, Finance, and Compliance, while supporting communication and relationship-building with customers.
- Conduct regular HSSE inspections with site teams, proactively address health, safety, and environmental issues, and ensure site personnel are well-versed in management system procedures.
- Drive customer retention through operational excellence and timely resolution of client issues, while supporting variation order issuance and enhanced customer experience.
- Provide HSSE related inputs for vendor scopes of work, especially on Safety and HIRADC, and ensure third parties meet compliance and operational safety standards.
- Assist Finance in monitoring payment collections, reviewing invoices, and ensuring accurate processing to support cash flow and prevent payment delays.
- Prepare and submit monthly management reports and supporting analyses in line with SOPs and contractual obligations; assist with client-requested presentations as required.
- Foster team synergy, delegate tasks with clarity, provide regular performance feedback, and utilize systems like Asseto for accurate operational tracking and site management.
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification; a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Sciences is preferred.
- Must possess competency certification by NIOSH.
- At least 4 years of experience in Integrated Facility Management (IFM) or related fields.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and business improvement plans.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. Fair verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be computer literate and comfortable using workplace systems and digital tools.
