The APAC Tax Manager will oversee and manage the full spectrum of tax compliance and advisory for the APAC region, ensuring regulatory adherence and efficient tax planning. This key role in the business services industry requires a results-driven professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership capabilities.Compliance and reportingo Monitor fulfilment of trackers and documentations in respect of withholding taxes, certificate of foreign tax residency, intercompany agreements.o Facilitate Transfer Pricing compliance - support documentation of agreements, related party transaction reporting template and annual financial statements.o Support Tax Audit requests, deal with external advisors and track the risks related to Tax Audits.o Monitor Corporate Tax Accounts balance sheet reconciliation.o Willingness to learn ERP system to generate financial reports independently, deep dive into detailed transactions and documentation to support querieso Support ad-hoc VAT audit / review on existing VAT filing records across APAC to ensure process improvements and streamlining across APAC region.o Work closely with Legal team to review legal contract terms in respect of tax clauses.o Track statutory deadlines and monitor / influence Global Transactional Finance teams' deliverable to ensure timely tax submissions.Advisoryo Advice on specific tax related questions related to Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing topics.o Support Senior Stakeholders to assure Transfer Pricing and intercompany recharges and assist with the implementation of the Transfer Pricing Policies in new countries, identifying and reporting any TP risks.o Support in the high-level review of the Corporate Income Tax in APAC countries. Voluntarily participate in new challenges without waiting to be asked.o You are very hands on and able to work independently with minimal supervision.o Efficiency, flexibility and proactiveness.Attractive Remuneration PackageOpportunity to work with a Multinational CompanyRequirementso 6+ years of experience working in a similar role.o Bachelor's degree in Account, Law or equivalent.o Master's Degree in Tax and experience in International Tax.o Experience working in-house is a plus.o Experience working with IFRS.o Experience in reviewing the Tax Accounting, Corporate Tax Returns and Tax Audits.o Full proficiency in English, Mandarin would be plus but not necessary.o Enthusiastic and excited to keep learning, Initiative, influencing, resilience.o Very hands on.o Ability to work in a highly unstructured environment and can thrive under tight time pressure.o Ability to work as a team player.Putting people at the heart of everything we do.
