Job Responsibility Responsible for managing administration of department to ensure smooth running of the operations and targets set are achieved To deliver consistent performance and compliance to the safety and hygiene standards every day in individual department. Effectively manage, provide guidance and motivate and take team members together as a team. Customer Satisfaction To ensure the merchandise we sell are safe, legal and of the quality our customer expect. To ensure merchandise we offer is always in good quality, fresh and at cheapest prices than other competitors to increase customers satisfaction. Lead and train team members to provide a quality customer service image through enthusiastic welcome and friendly attitude. Listen to customers feedback to know, analyze and react to meet customers' expectations and retain customer loyalty. Carefully handle all merchandise (outright & consignment) by going through proper quality checking when receives the goods; coach team members to display merchandise according to planogram for shelf fulfilment and mitigate out of stock (OOS). Always give priority to customers to shop by not doing work that can interrupt customers such as blocking the aisles with pallet or cart rack. Organization Efficiency Exercising the correct way of implementing and coaching team members for the following: - Goods receiving (confirm quantity, manage the high loss product, quality & freshness check) Display the right price at the right merchandise with promotional material such as POP to attract customers. During business hours, manage the sales floor and practice self-organizing, maintain cleanliness, cleaning up of equipment, giving clear instruction, educating and managing team members. Before store opening, check for freshness of merchandise, merchandise position alignment, check on price difference, removal of contaminated, damaged, expired merchandise so that there is no problem with the merchandise at the sales floor. Check and replace correct shelf tag so that to reduce price difference error and to smooth the checkout counter flow. Stock excess stock in a systematic and easy tracking ways so that we have accurate stock card at all time. Handle all store facilities with care and safely so that safety of customers and employees are protected. Always use common sense and manage according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in these areas: Sales floor, workplace, back room, office, toilet, fire protection, risk prevention, hygiene management, occupational safety & health, customer service, fire door, CCTV, security sensor, safety related equipment, forklift, transporting equipment such as trolleys, cooking utensils, HHT & etc.Employee Training and Development Always portray positive behavior, instruct and manage team members effectively. Developing team members by giving practical education and training to them (local, foreign workers, promoters), organize and role assignment to be delegated clearly to achieve efficiency and improve work performance of department. To establish a system that can maintain and improve employee satisfaction and encourage personal self-growth. Work together with Store HR to ensure the department organization structure is updated at all time. Plan and identify each team member s job contents/ tasks, able to lead and delegate tasks to ensure everyone is working towards optimum productivity. Responsible to monthly work planning of department and weekly/ daily work scheduling of all team members. Conducting On Job Training (OJT) for Hygiene, Store Display, ACOC and etc. Setting team members goal and KPI and evaluate their work attitude. Financial Performance To understand and manage full set of department stock order and sales in order to achieve Targeted Quantity Sold Per Customer (QSPC) Targeted sales Reduction of Unknown loss (including Fresh loss in fresh department, fresh unknown loss) Reduction of wastage Targeted average stock value Operating profit (OP) and Activity Contribution (AC) Quality & Hygiene standards (Fresh department only Hygiene level) Job Requirements REQUIREMENT QUALIFICATION and EDUCATION Education Qualification and Experience Degree/Diploma in any field. 3-5 years of working experience in retail operations management/related field. Computer Literacy Skill MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint MS Team Language Skills Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
