Cisco Engineer (Networking)

• Design, implement, and manage modern SD-WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures using Cisco, Versa, Aruba, and similar platforms.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend suitable networking solutions to support enterprise-scale environments.
• Lead network deployments and perform hands-on troubleshooting with deep technical knowledge of routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Continuously improve and automate network processes to align with business goals.
• Collaborate with global teams and contribute to successful project outcomes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship within the network engineering team.

• 15+ years of experience in network design and delivery in large-scale environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SD-WAN and cloud-based networking.
• 5+ years of working in or leading global teams on complex projects.

• Required: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
• Versa Certified Administrator - SD-WAN Specialist or VNX100

• Expert in Cisco SD-WAN (MUST)
• Strong experience with Versa Secure SD-WAN
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Next-Gen Firewalls
• Familiar with protocols: MPLS, VxLAN, IPsec, QoS, BGP, OSPF, GRE
• Knowledge of NFV, SASE, Cisco Umbrella, Versa Secure Access
• Experience with cloud networking: AWS, Azure, GCP, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Megaport
• Understanding of network services: DHCP, DNS, IPAM, proxy, WAF, CDN, DDoS (e.g., Infoblox, Zscaler, Akamai, Imperva)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools: Spectrum, SevOne, CyberArk, ThousandEyes, MS Entra ID
• Coding/scripting in Python is an advantage

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities
• High level of ownership, responsibility, and resilience in high-pressure environments

• Weekend support may be required depending on project timelines (replacement leave provided).
