- Analyze sales orders demand to prioritize and plan finished goods production available dates.
- Collaborate with APAC manufacturing plants and all internal stakeholders (Order Fulfillment, Production Planning, Specials team and others) to meet customer deliveries for efficient operations.
- To plan production or schedules orders follow size of manufacturing capabilities to manufacture goods on time to meet customers' requirement.
- To respond to customer on their concerns and enquiries on production completion schedule.
- Collaborate with APAC manufacturing plants in China, India & Malaysia in coordinating and planning production activities to improve Say Yes % to market demands.
- Expedite and follow up actions are required if there are changes in delivery schedules initiated by customers or internal issues which have impact on customer deliveries.
- Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion.
- Investigate and analyze root causes of delay and interruptions. Propose or provide solutions to adjust production schedule to meet the customers ' deadline and follow up actions required.
- Communicate and negotiate with the customers if delay occurs with appropriate solutions and alternative approaches if possible.
- To do capacity leveling load planning for all manufacturing buckets across all the manufacturing plants to meet customer demand.
- Generate weekly management report and others which assign by the superior
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, develop actions plan and implement effectively.
- Minimum 3 years working experience as a supply chain planner or scheduler role in manufacturing plant.
- Intermediate Mandarin speaking skill to liaise with China counterpart. Reading and writing are not compulsory.
- Intermediate to advanced level of supply & demand forecasting and analytical skills.
- Able to develop and maintain strong and effective professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders (prior experience in APAC scale is a huge plus point).
- Have prior experience leading process or continuous improvement project/s.
- Is cognizant of the timezone differences and urgency in meeting needs of internal customers across APAC.
- Are proficient in SAP ie Production Planning (PP), Material Management (MM) & Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.
- Can speak any Mandarin dialects to ease communication with the manufacturing plant in China.
- Equipped with LEAN or Six Sigma certification.
- Have prior experience working in Furniture industry.
