- Undertake corporate fund management which includes developing, reviewing and implementing financial plans to meet fund requirements of the company.
- Formulate and implement financial and accounting methods and procedures, including internal control system for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance & Accounts Department.
- Supervise and coordinate all the accounting functions of the Finance & Accounts Department.
- Ensure timely submission of the accounting and management reports in compliance to the legal and other requirements and accounting standards.
- Verify all accounting transactions and to ensure compliance of internal policies and procedures.
- Liaise with auditors, company secretary, tax agent, financial institutions and legal advisors on all financial and accounting matters.
- Liaise with parent company and coordinate with government governing institutions on all issues relating to financial matters of the company.
- Undertake all administrative duties within set authority limits.
- Supervise, monitor, appraise and train subordinates of the team.
- Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
- A recognised Degree in Accounting and Finance/Professional qualification such as ACCA/MACPA/CIMA/its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years related working experience in managing all aspects of financial and accounting functions.
- Dynamic, independent and possess good managerial and analytical skills.
- Preferable a member of MIA/ACCA/MACPA/CIMA.
- Office based. Traveling is required.
