Job DescriptionAirAsia X is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of airworthiness requirements and safety by the Continuing Airworthiness Division in its effort to produce serviceable aircraft for service. You will assist the Quality Assurance Manager for the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of all quality assurance programs within AirAsia X that are required by ICAO, CAAM, Company Policy, process as well as the IOSA standards.Functional Responsibilities:Implement a suitable system of quality assurance operations to effectively and efficiently ensure and enforce compliance of airworthiness requirements and safetyCarry out assigned audits as per approved audit plan and tasks assigned by QAMRole Responsibilities:Perform audits internal and external to ensure compliance to CAAM Civil Aviation Directives as well as other applicable standardsFunctional Duties:Assist Quality Assurance Manager for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of all quality assurance program within AirAsia X that are required by ICAO, CAAM and Company Policy, process as well as the IOSA standardsRole Duties:Ensure that all audits are performed in accordance with the approved audit plan and tasks assigned by QAMIdentify, record, and report any non-compliance or deficiency found during the auditAssist in the development of corrective actions and follow-up with responsible parties to ensure timely and effective implementationTraits:Minimum of five (05) years of working experience in aircraft maintenance certificationKnowledge in aircraft, engines and its associated systemsPossess knowledge in the application of aviation safety standards, state safety program and safe operating practicesKnowledgeable in CAA of Malaysia requirements and regulationsComputer literateTactful with good interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in auditing will be an advantageEducation:Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence (B1/B2) with at least one type ratingProfessional qualifications:Possess auditor training certificationCAAM AML Licence with at least one type ratingTrain the Trainer CertificationTraining required for the position (if any):OJT with qualified auditor or the above-mentioned as requiredWe are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated individual to fill this position.
