- Plan, monitor and report progress and impact of Sales Force Excellence initiatives
- Drive targeted improvement in sales teams by addressing performance gaps and embed improvements.
- Review, propose and roll out improvement initiatives to build sales force capability related to each step of the sales process (e.g. customer targeting, (key) account management, distributor management, negotiation skills, etc)
- Ensure sales organization design and related role types conform to the proposed management designs (e.g. alignment with normative design)
- Provide vision, leadership and support to sales, customer services and technical teams by showing vision, putting in resources to ensure high service levels and operational efficiency
- Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regards to personal conduct and HSE standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations
- University degree with 5-7 years of sales experience with at least 3 years heading a sales team
- People manager in sales team management, experience in territorial management ( ASM, RSM) know passion in people development and people management in nature.
- Strong articulation, communication, and negotiation skill.
- Experienced and exposed to sales development, selling methodology, sales academic training in previous role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Sell initiatives, driven with passion individuals
- Able to travel extensively among Malaysia, as this role require extension on field coaching to sales team. Min 10 work days in a month.
- Working experience with industries in distribution like FMCG, Appliances, Lubricants, Construction, Paint would be a plus
- With a trainer certification will be a plus point.
