As a Senior Business Development Technologist, you'll be responsible for: Driving sales and meeting targets by developing new projects and business aligned with our company strategies. Staying on top of the latest market trends, competitors, and customer insights to gain a competitive edge. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Utilizing your commercial, negotiation, and marketing skills to develop new applications and markets in the food industry by leveraging your technical knowledge. Material Planning and coordinating technical and commercial efforts with our global Business Partners. Able to spot opportunities and work independently, drive and develop them. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technologists Having a deep understanding of our company culture and values. Requirements: Holds a BSc. Food Tech/Food Science/Biotechnology/Nutrition/or equivalent. Has at least 2 years of sales work experience in food ingredients. Possesses knowledge and understanding of food processing/manufacturing, with a background in dairy, beverage, bakery, savoury, or meat processing being a plus. Background in one of the following areas will be helpful: dairy / beverage / bakery / savoury / meat processing Good command of business English, and additional language skills are always welcome. Has an outgoing personality and ease with social interactions, making it easy to build strong relationships with customers. Proactive in business and commercial development, always looking for new opportunities to drive growth. Possess own vehicle and is willing to travel (both locally and outstation) to meet clients and explore new markets.
