Someone with an attitude to deliver and a passion to delight.Assistant Events ManagerWe are looking for Events ManagerAs an Events Manager, we rely on you toHandle all incoming leads for wedding and social events and convert them into confirmed business.Handle logistics arrangement for confirmed events and groups with / without events with organizers in a proactive mannerLiaise with event / group organizers on finalizing details and gives professional advice on rooming list, set-ups and planning of eventsEnsure effective communication with clients and internal departmentsMaintain close co-ordination with respective departments on organisers' requirements and last minute event requirementsManage guests and organizers' satisfactionOversee the operation of banquet functions and works closely with various departments to ensure quality service is delivered to our clients at all timesEnsure account postings are correctly done and review bills with organizers on a daily basisWe are looking for someone who:Degree holder in Hotel Management, Events Management or relevant disciplineMinimum of 5 years related experience in a similar capacityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and can work independently under pressureAlways kept up-to-date with latest industry trends and market practicesCommunicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)Is detail-oriented, creative and has the ability to drive changeIf you are the right person, what are you waiting for?
