Job Details:Key Responsibilities :1. Project Management & InnovationLead and manage R&D projects, ensuring timely delivery of new or improved products that meet defined specifications.Drive product innovation through research, formulation, and process improvements.2. Product Development & CommercializationCollaborate with Marketing and customers from concept development through to product launch.Ensure smooth handover and support during scale-up and commercialization phases.3. Laboratory Analysis & TroubleshootingConduct lab work and analytical testing to evaluate prototypes and production samples.Troubleshoot issues related to product formulation, process efficiency, or quality concerns.4. Prototype Development & Production TrialsWork with cross-functional teams to develop kitchen samples and support pilot or plant trials.Monitor trial runs, collect and analyze data, and provide technical recommendations.5. Data Analysis & Technical RecommendationsInterpret test data to support decision-making and product optimization.Present clear, data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders.6. Raw Material Sourcing & DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate alternative raw materials for cost-saving or supply assurance purposes.Work closely with Procurement and Quality Assurance for supplier qualification.7. Documentation & ReportingMaintain comprehensive records of all R&D activities and project documentation.Prepare detailed technical reports and ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory guidelines.8. Independent Task ManagementPerform assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative, ownership, and accountability.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary or a related field1–3 years of experience in product development or R&D in the food industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHands-on experience in laboratory testing, formulation, and product trialsExcellent communication and technical writing abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant analytical toolsAble to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentRelocation Assistance Eligible: NoWork Shift:Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
