Team size: Below 10duties and responsibility ...As a Logistics Manager, you are responsible for the following: * Lead and manage a team of logistics personnel overseeing daily operations at plants located in Ipoh.
- Strategize and assess the transportation strategy and needs for the business.
- Develop and implement schedules for fleet and distribution at both Ipoh sites to meet daily supply chain demands, totaling approximately few thousands of metric tons per day.
- Strategize and oversee the scheduling of bagged/bulk cement, export cement, and export clinker deliveries to optimize distribution networks and minimize operational costs across air, sea and land transportation modes
- At least 3-5 years in relevant Logistics, Fleet Management and Import / Export
- Prior people management experience is crucial
- Willing to be based in Perak
- Knowledge in logistics, transportation and shipping operations
- Possess own transport and wlling to travel between plant to port, when required
