- Lead the full lifecycle of analytics projects from scoping, data extraction, and modeling to delivering actionable insights.
- Work independently on complex business questions, breaking down problems into structured analyses and clear deliverables.
- Anticipate data issues, validate results thoroughly, and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal oversight.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable analytics processes, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the company's data infrastructure, tools, and business domain.
- Write clean, efficient SQL/Python code to query, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, performance, stability, and scalability.
- Research and propose new analytical methods, tools, or technologies to improve team efficiency and insight generation.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for projects that directly influence business strategy and outcomes.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact problems, ensuring insights are actionable and tied to measurable business value.
- Influence decision-making at the project and service level, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Author and present design documents, dashboards, and reports to drive clarity and alignment.
- Provide feedback and guidance to peers; mentor junior analysts to raise team standards.
- Collaborate across teams, facilitating discussions and reaching consensus on technical and business trade-offss
- Set short-term strategic direction for analytics initiatives and contribute to longer-term data strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field ( a master's degree is a plus)
- 5–7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field. Experience in a fast-paced technology or product-driven company is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
- Strong experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience with large-scale datasets and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Athena, Datalake).
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, experimentation (A/B testing), and causal inference.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technical, analytical, and product considerations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to break down complex challenges into actionable steps.
