Duties And Responsibilities Manage financial activities for two corporate entities Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for consolidation. Prepare working files and information for consolidation team, adhering to accounting standards and Group policies. Coordinate with external and internal auditors, tax agents, and bankers. Ensure accurate recording of accruals, provisions, expenses, and forex transactions. Conduct periodic recoverability assessments on investments and intercompany balances. Prepare monthly Latest Estimate for two financial quarters. Supervise related party transactions and review 3rd party invoices and payments. Assist in reviewing outgoing invoices to inter-companies. Manage short-term cash flows, including weekly payment phasing and review of cash planning. Assist in indirect tax compliance and monthly tracking/analysis of expenses against the business plan. Handle periodic reporting to Bank Negara Malaysia and assist in Shariah-compliance assessments. Contribute to the preparation of the annual Business Plan. Lead or assist in team initiatives for process improvement, including finance-related automation. Supervise SUN system automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Enhance Finance SOP and process flowchart. Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the finance manager to achieve departmental objectives. Requirements And Qualifications Degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA, ACCA, or relevant qualification. 4-5 years of experience in audit and commercial roles (experience in a public listed company in Malaysia is advantageous). Strong experience in closing a full set of accounts. Good understanding of accounting standards. Knowledge of SUN system is advantageous. Deadline-oriented, meticulous, and detail-oriented. Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team. Assertive and capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
